Modell 1986 JMP [Objekt #6428] 1967/68

Rare and outstanding-sounding Marshall JMP Model 1986, 50 watts, from the early Plexi era.

The original chassis, Drake transformers (1202-118 / 784-139), and Plexi front and back panels are all present. The housing is a completely hand-built reproduction.

The amplifier has been professionally serviced: two capacitors and several resistors were replaced, an adjustable bias pot was added, and all pots were replaced. The existing Ultron EL34/6CA7 and ECC83 tubes were tested and found to be fully functional, so they were retained.

A superb-sounding early 50-watt Plexi with exceptional character, dynamics and classic Marshall tone. An excellent piece of Marshall history for both collectors and players.

Originality: Original chassis, transformers and Plexi panels. Hand-built replacement cabinet. Electronics professionally serviced. The original cabinet is included. Unfortunately, Pattex adhesive was applied to the exterior.
