Stratocaster [Objekt #6033] [Baujahr 1955]

A rare and still affordable Stratocaster from its second year of production. Fantastic sound and very playable!
Body made of light ash has been refinished in blonde long time ago w. nitro laquer. Body date looks like 7-55.
Neck dated 12-55, back of neck has been oversprayed
Refretted with medium frets (95% left), nut replaced.
Bridge, Pickups, pickguard, pots, paper-cap and 3-way switch original. Knobs and PU-covers are later 50s Fenders.
Two pieces of maple have been inserted on the side of the neck to compensate 2 dents.
Little piece of pickguard below 2nd tone knob broken, has been glued.
Tremolo backplate missing
Tuners are single-line Klusons as used from 1956 on
