Great Les Paul from the second year of its production with the original pickups, perfect playable with a not too strong neck and also a powerful tone. It is equipped with a 50s alu one-piece stud bridge. Additionally, for perfect intonation, an adjustable aluminum bridge from Joe Glaser is included, which can be installed upon request. On the body end the wholes from a trapez tailpiece are visible, but the neck angle of 3,5 degrees is typical for a 53 LP with stud-bridge. Details: D-Profile neck 43mm width and 22,5mm thickness at saddle Original P-90 pickups measured: 7,2K (Neck), 7,3 K (Bridge) One piece mahogani neck and -body with maple top The top was once sanded and later refinished in goldtop with nitro laquer (shows some nice crackling) The back of neck and body look original. Tuner are original early 50s Kluson tuners, once it had grovers monted (holes in headstock widened, no extra screw holes added) Pots, capacitors, wires, trussrod cover, output jack and -plate where renewd Refretted with high medium jumbo frets (90% left) Bone saddle replaced On the back of neck below saddle it shows a little fissure in the laquer but no crack It comes with original wires, jack-plate and 4 older Centralab pots.
