Precision Bass [Objekt #3781] [Baujahr 1959]

Body was original blonde on ash-body and refinished by Tom Murphy 2000 c. Fortunately no sanding involved so router hump in tact and all routing edges are still sharp. Also the original blonde finish and date still in the cavities. The previous owner had installed an early 60s tortoise guard so it has the extra holes under the guard from the 13 hole pattern. Thankfully he still had the original anodized and lacquered gold guard (in far better shape than most as it had been kept off of the bass - and no shrinkage issues with aluminum...) One of the Kluson tuners is an early 60s replacement  Pots are correct and has 'phone book' type of tone capacitor. Solid fit, no damage or repairs. No filled routings, etc.
Comes with original brown tolex gigbag, strap and ''ashtrays''.
