Formerly owned by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. He bought the guitar in 1971 and played it during the US Summer Tour ''Thick As A Brick'' in 1972. In 1973 he gave the guitar to Gary Pickford-Hopkins, who founded the group ''Wild Turkey'' with Gen Cornick (ex Jethro Tull) and Bernie Marsden (ex Whitesnake). In 1974 Gary Pickford was on US Tour ''Journey To The Center Of THe Earth'' with Rick Wakeman. A few Backstage Passes stick on the case from that tour.
In 1996 Gary Pickford sold the guitar to a collector in Germany, who sold it in 2019.
The guitar comes with a confirmation from Ian Anderson, that he was the owner of this guitar, as well as the purchase agreement between Gary Pickford and the German collector and a few pictures of Ian Anderson with this guitar.

The bridge was shifted by Ian Anderson by approx. 2 mm to accommodate silk and steel string.
Two little holes in the bridge for a previously installed Barcus Berry pickup.
One tuner (D-string) is slightly bent.
Back, sides, fretboard, bridge and headstock overlay made of Brazilian rosewood
Comes with CITES.
