Stratocaster [Item #4404] [Build 1957]

57th body refinsihed long time ago, body date 5/57 still visible in the tremolo cavity.
The neck with a nice and not too thick profile (between U- and V-shape) is dated and signed by Tadeo Gomez with TD-10-54. The headstock has the rounded edges typical of 1954. The neck is partly oversprayed. Trussrod works fine. Tuners are mid 60s double-line Klusons (holes not drilled up). Frets have been replaced and are still in good shape.
2 Pickups are original black bottoms, middle PU has been rewound. Neck PU is a early 60s black bottom. Routings and pickguard have been shielded with alu-foil, it has partly been takin off again. Pickguard is original, tremolo is original except the block that has been exchanged possibly because of a broken trem-arm. 3-way switch is from the 60s. Strap-pins, string retainer and trem arm are replacements.
Here you get a perfect player for the price of a 54 neck!
Comes with a non original case.
The last owner bought it in the early 80s as it is now. It can be seen in a video of his band "Fatima Mansions" from 1990:
