with original Case, new pickguard, very small repaired crack near pickguard, very small hole in the bridge and on the lower back from former installed pickup, some touch-ups in the finish on lower side.

The D-19, was introduced in 1976. It was intended to be a more deluxe version of Martin's fading mahogany model, the D-18. The D-19 has a brown soundboard almost the same color as the back and sides. As with the D-35 a decade earlier, the D-19 was an attempt to do more with less. In this case, the light brown stain on the top would allow Martin to use spruce that had natural dark streaks that had no negative effect on tone, but didn't look as appealing with a clear finish. An extra white line around the back, plus the soundhole rosette of a Style 28, completed the upgrade from 18 to 19.
